Our History
  • Capitol Office Solutions (COS) was founded in 1976 and is the largest digital imaging copier and printer dealer in the Mid-Atlantic area.
  • In 1998, COS was acquired by Global Imaging Systems, a national provider of document imaging systems with a unique philosophy; “Think Globally, Act Locally.” This family of companies, provided a national network and allowed Capitol Office Solutions to begin servicing many Mid-Atlantic companies who have offices in other areas of the country. 
  • In 2007, Global Imaging Systems was acquired by Xerox and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox. This acquisition positioned COS with the ability to provide its customers with the superior technology from the entire family of Xerox products,  with a personal local approval to technical and administrative support. 
  • Capitol Office Solutions now has access to Xerox leading industry technology coupled with localized best in class sales and support at competitive market value.
